What Happens after On the Table:
The Chicago Community Trust Presents Findings and Impact

As in prior years, On the Table 2019 was a day of civic conversations held across the Chicago area, bringing people together to discuss issues that they believe are important to their future and the region’s future. This year’s conversation arrived at an unprecedented time in Chicago’s history with the election of Lori Lightfoot to be our new mayor. On the Table 2019  planned to create a Memo to the Mayor, a public-facing, people-generated plan for the new administration’s first year in office.

This year, we invite you to join the CR Group on May 23rd for a discussion about what happens with all those conversations after the annual Tuesday On the Table conversations are over.  Kristin Carlson Vogen, Senior Director of Philanthropic Services at The Chicago Community Trust will talk about the importance of On the Table, the impact it’s had over the years on the foundation and the city as well, and why initiatives like this remain relevant and important to the social fabric on our region. Indeed, our collective voice has never been more important.
