Kirk Hoopingarner is a partner in Quarles & Brady LLP’s Trusts and Estates and Tax-Exempt Organizations.  He has been practicing in these areas since coming to Chicago from The University of Michigan Law School in 1984. Kirk is married with four daughters and currently resides in Evanston, where he has played leadership roles in various community organizations, including previously serving as board chair of the Evanston Community Foundation, and currently serving on the board and executive committee of the McGaw YMCA of Evanston. He is also currently active as an Associate member of the Donors Forum and is a member of professional advisors committees for Children’s Memorial Hospital Foundation, Chicago Zoological Society and Lincoln Park Zoo.

Susan Geller has been a CR Group member for more than 15 years.  She is the Institutional Relations Officer with YWCA Metropolitan Chicago and the primary grant writer for their sexual violence programs. Susan has been with the YWCA since 2002 and previously held senior fundraising positions in Chicago with Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Loyola University Chicago, Chicago Boys and Girls Clubs and The Salvation Army. Susan holds a degree in social work from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Patty Huber Morrissey, Head of Social Innovation at Groupon, leads the philanthropic arm at Groupon since joining the company in May 2010. Harnessing the collective action platform, Patty developed the Groupon Grassroots initiative to turn deal seekers into do-gooders by tapping into the collective power of the group to respond to local community need. In addition to her work with Grassroots, Patty was appointed Chair of the Outreach Committee for the Illinois Governor’s Task Force on Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise, as well as joining the advisory team for Impact Engine, a 12-week accelerator program that supports for-profit businesses making the world a better place. Patty has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from James Madison University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. Her hobbies include braving the elements during her year-round bike commute to work and spending time with her husband Brian and daughter Vivian Rose.

Kate Stobbe currently serves as Corporate Responsibility Manager-US for ArcelorMittal.  Prior to ArcelorMittal, Kate worked for two and a half years as a Community Affairs Representative with Northern Trust and managed corporate philanthropy locally, nationally, and internationally.  After completing a graduate certificate in Non-Profit Management and the Philanthropy Sector from Loyola University, Kate held an internship at Kraft Foods in their Corporate Community Involvement department. Before crossing over to the corporate responsibility side, Kate held various positions with several non-profit organizations in Chicago and her home state of Oregon.  In addition to her certificate, Kate received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Luther College in Iowa.
